Products is hiring for a Millwright to join our Ladysmith Sawmill Operation located in Ladysmith , BC. Hourly premiums of $0.60/hour on shifts that are outside the recognized day shift Shifts: Saturday and Sunday, 6:00am to 4:30pm. This position is considered safety sensitive, all successful candidates will be subject to a pre-employment drug test. Repairing or replacing mechanical components & machinery
- Rigging and slinging
- Troubleshooting mechanical machinery
- Performing other preventative maintenance processes that pertain to optimum mechanical performance of our facility. Candidates must be Red Seal Certified or hold valid BC or Alberta Journeyperson Millwright Certification
- Preference will be given to those with sawmill experience
- Creative and innovating thinking, logical problem solving, and a desire to participate in an organization committed to continuous improvement
