OMaintenance Technician / Labourer

Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technicians to support the upkeep of our residential and commercial properties. This role involves general property maintenance, renovations, repairs, and seasonal work.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining properties, and is willing to learn recent skills. Experience is beneficial, but candidates with a strong work ethic and construction aptitude are encouraged to apply.

Because we are a small team, flexibility and a positive attitude are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Property Maintenance

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Assist with painting, plastering, drywall repair, flooring, carpentry, and general upkeep.
- Support basic plumbing and electrical repairs under direction when required.
- Complete property inspections and report issues to supervisors.

Renovation & Construction Support

- Assist with renovation and construction projects.
- Prepare work areas, move materials, and maintain a clean and safe job site.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Assist with demolition, framing, finishing, painting, and cleanup activities.

Grounds & Seasonal Maintenance

- Lawn care and landscaping activities.




- Snow clearing and ice control.
- Garbage collection and site cleanup.
- General exterior property maintenance.

General Duties

- Respond to maintenance requests in a skilled manner.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures.
- Complete other duties as required.

Qualifications

Required

- Basic experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping, or a related field.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift materials as required.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license.

Assets

- Experience with painting, drywall, carpentry, plumbing, or electrical work.
- Experience operating tools and equipment.
- Safety certifications such as WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection, or OH&S; training.
- Property maintenance experience.
