MAINTENANCE UTILITY WORKER The Battlefords Housing Authority The Battlefords Housing Authority (TBHA) is looking for a full time permanent Maintenance Utility Worker to join their team. The primary focus of this position will be on grounds keeping and routine maintenance duties. The Maintenance Utility Worker position reports to the Property Services Manager.

What You Will Do:

- Garbage removal and janitorial tasks
- Maintain grass, trim trees and weed control daily.
- Clear snow according to snow removal plan daily.
- Complete painting and minor repair projects.
- Perform routine building checks, equipment testing, and general maintenance duties.

What We’re Looking For:

- Grade 12 education
- Experience in a maintenance and repair environment would be considered an asset.
- The ability to communicate effectively with tenants, housing authority staff, contractors and suppliers
- An independent, task oriented, self-starter

What You’ll Need:

- Valid drivers’ license




- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Previous experience safely operating a skid steer or similar equipment is considered an asset.
- Recognition of and respect for people’s diversity and individual differences.
- An Enhanced (Vulnerable Sector) Criminal Record Check is required
