Job Title: Manager, Business Analyst & Scrum Master

Location: Remote (Must be willing to relocate if converted to a full-time employee)

Duration: 6+ Month Contract (Strong possibility of extension and potential contract-to-hire)

About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Business Analyst & Scrum Master to lead a team of Business Analysts, Technical Data Product Owners (TDPOs), and Scrum Masters within a Global Data Engineering and Business Intelligence organization.

This is a leadership-focused role responsible for driving agile delivery excellence, business analysis best practices, stakeholder alignment, and team development across a global portfolio of data and analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Business Analysis, Agile delivery, and people leadership, with experience managing distributed teams and multiple concurrent projects.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of approximately 25 Business Analysts, Technical Data Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and contractors.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee engagement.
- Provide coaching, guidance, performance management, and career development support.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and team growth initiatives.

Agile Delivery & Project Oversight

- Drive Agile and Scrum best practices across multiple data and analytics projects.
- Provide oversight for Scrum Masters and ensure consistent agile execution across teams.




- Act as an escalation point for project risks, scope challenges, dependencies, and delivery issues.
- Improve project visibility, reporting, governance, and delivery tracking through effective use of Jira and related tools.
- Monitor team capacity, resource allocation, and workload balancing across strategic initiatives.

Business Analysis & Data Initiatives

- Establish and standardize business analysis practices, including:
- Requirements gathering
- User story development
- Business process analysis
- Source-to-target mapping
- Documentation standards
- Ensure business requirements are clearly translated into actionable technical deliverables.
- Partner closely with Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Stakeholder & Strategic Alignment

- Build strong relationships with executive leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate alignment between business objectives and technology roadmaps.
- Promote transparency, communication, and collaboration across globally distributed teams.
- Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and delivery outcomes.

Required Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience in:
- Business Analysis




- Agile Project Delivery
- Scrum Leadership
- Data-focused Project or Program Management
- 3+ years of leadership or people management experience.
- Strong experience leading Scrum teams and Agile delivery practices.
- Demonstrated success managing Business Analysts, Product Owners, or Scrum Masters.
- Experience working within Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Requirements gathering
- Business process analysis
- Agile methodologies
- Project governance
- Stakeholder management
- Experience managing multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Robust communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Experience leading distributed or global teams.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience within Data Engineering, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Warehousing organizations.
- Experience managing teams across North America, Europe, India, and/or Mexico.
- Strong Jira governance and project tracking experience.
- Experience with:

- Knowledge of source-to-target mapping and data project lifecycles.
- Previous experience in a contract-to-hire environment.

Education & Certifications

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Preferred certifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- PMI-ACP
- CBAP
- PMP or equivalent Agile certifications
