Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Manager of Career Services & Co-op to lead our colleges career development initiatives and co-operative education programs. In this pivotal role, you will drive innovative strategies to connect students with meaningful employment opportunities, foster strong relationships with industry partners, and enhance the overall career readiness of our student body. Your leadership will empower students to achieve their professional goals while ensuring seamless program operations that align with institutional objectives.

Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive career services strategies that support student employment success and experiential learning opportunities.
- Oversee the administration of co-op programs, including student placements, employer engagement, and program evaluation to ensure quality and relevance.
- Lead outreach efforts to build partnerships with local businesses, industry leaders, and community organizations to expand internship and employment pathways.
- Coordinate workshops, seminars, and public speaking engagements on topics such as resume writing, interview techniques, and career development.
- Utilize PeopleSoft and Ellucian systems to manage student data, track employment outcomes, and generate reports for continuous improvement.
- Conduct analysis of employment trends and labor market data to inform program offerings and recruitment strategies.
- Supervise a team of career services staff and student coordinators, fostering a cooperative environment focused on excellence in service delivery.
- Represent the institution at career fairs, industry events, and community forums to promote programs and recruit prospective students.

- Ability to coordinate job fairs, employer meetings, interviews, and career events
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and integrity
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Career Services, Admissions, Academic, and Employer Relations teams
- Results-oriented approach with a focus on employment placements and graduate outcomes
- Knowledge of local labour-market trends and employment resources.
