Manager, Engineering Management Office (EMO)

Public Works Position Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $121,700.00 – $143,170.00

Hybrid Work Arrangement: Yes Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Engineering and Construction, the Manager of the Engineering Management Office (EMO) leads the development, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of engineering and capital project delivery frameworks, standards, controls and support systems across Public Works. The position enables effective management of cost, performance and risk constraints related to infrastructure projects, ensuring consistent alignment of deliverables with service level demands, compliance obligations, engineering positive practices, maintenance and reliability readiness deliverables and Public Works priorities.

Minimum

Requirements - Post-secondary degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Environmental Engineering or a related field is required.

- Minimum of eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in engineering, capital project delivery, project/portfolio management or related field,



including experience in a leadership capacity.
- Experience with engineering management office (EMO/PMO) functions, project controls, quality management and continuous improvement, preferably within a municipal or public sector environment.
