Meals2GO Program Associate
Scope: In-Scope
Part-Time(8-16hr/Week)
Salary Scale - $17.60 to $18.35 per hour
Harvest Manitoba is an outstanding place with employees that care greatly about the work that we do and the people that we work with and serve. As a key member of the Volunteer Services team the
Meals2Go Associate will work well with our team and ensure the consistent and proactive flow of food and facilitate the pop-up breakfast program. This person must have exceptional organizational and time management skills and should be knowledgeable about our city routes.
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Responsibilities
- Receive and log stick levels of supplies.
- Driving a 3- or 5-ton truck.
- Assist packing days via hosting volunteers.
- Send reminders of delivery schedules with participating schools
- Correspond with schools, families, and staff regarding programming and Meals2Go
programming and deliveries when required.
- Delivery of packages to schools and assist in extracurricular activities related to programming
and Meals2Go, including some evening engagements as necessary.
- Gather and utilize feedback for continuous program involvement.
- Assist with coordination and execution of other programming including the summer Meals2Go
program.
- Assist with basic operations surrounding donor appreciation events throughout the year including donor involvement in the program.

- Provide support to ensure volunteers are aligned with operational goals and procedures.
- Assist with communications with volunteers and staff regarding program involvement when
available including collecting content such as photos/vides for social media content.
- Ensuring all clients follow health & safety protocols.
- As a member of the Harvest Manitoba CREW, support the team however needed to ensure
- operational needs are being met.
About You:
- Post-secondary degree in education, social sciences, humanities, or business is an asset.
- Minimum 2 years directly working in a field related to student nutrition or social Services is required.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to serve a diverse range of clients with neutrality, compassion, and professionalism.
- Ability to interact with children and their families with a positive and welcoming demeanor.
- Ability to lift to 50lbs.
- Ability to use warehouse equipment such as a pallet jack (training provided)
- Ability to work a part of a team is essential.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and a clear driver’s abstract.
- Previous experience driving 3- and 5-Ton Trucks or a strong interest in learning is a requirement.
- Required to have a clear Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry Check.
