Responsibilities

- Disassemble and assemble radiators, fuel tanks, DPF components, heat exchangers, HVAC components, etc.
- Troubleshoot and repair customer equipment as required
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Post-Secondary Heavy Duty Mechanic/Technician education considered an asset
- Experience and knowledge in industrial heavy-duty equipment
- Experience in repairing automotive HVAC systems
- Experience with cranes, forklifts and material handling equipment, an asset
- Familiar with hand and power tools
- Soldering, Welding or Brazing Experience is an asset
- Diagnose and problem solve mechanical and electrical failures
- Up-to-date MOPIA certification
- Must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 2 years of experience performing the duties of a motor vehicle mechanic or equivalent,



relevant industry work experience; heavy duty preferred
- Read and Interpret Engineering Drawings
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Good organization skills, with ability to multi-task
- Efficient and responsible with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Able to work as part of a team
- Physically capable of lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Flexible and willing to do various tasks as assigned
- Valid class 5 driver’s license
- Proven understanding of safe work practices
- Ability to Travel to customer locations as needed
