About the Role

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems for renewable energy applications, such as solar mounting structures, wind turbine components, or energy storage systems.

- Create comprehensive design documentation, including 3D models, detailed drawings, BOMs, and specifications using advanced CAD software.

- Conduct prototype testing, analyze results, and implement design modifications to optimize performance and manufacturability.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience (4+ years) in mechanical design, with a focus on renewable energy systems or related fields.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor) and simulation tools (FEA).
- Strong understanding of materials science, structural analysis, and manufacturing processes relevant to the energy sector.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills within a project team in East London .
