ClearSecure is a Canadian leader in security glazing, manufacturing cutting-edge RockGlass products used across Canada and beyond. We’re looking for a Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineer who enjoys hands-on engineering, product development, and supporting customers with technical expertise.

You’ll work across the full product lifecycle from CAD design and prototyping, to testing, certification, manufacturing, and customer application while collaborating with Engineering, Production, Sales, Marketing, suppliers, and certification bodies.

What You’ll DoProduct Development & Engineering

· Develop new products and prepare product specifications.

· Evaluate materials, manufacturing processes, and product configuration options.

· Create and refine 2D/3D CAD models and engineering drawings.

· Insulating Glass Unit performance modeling using software.

· Support prototyping, validation testing, certification, and results interpretation.

· Produce technical documentation for product launches, sales, and marketing.

Technical Specifications & Customer Support

· Maintain CSI-format prototype specifications for ClearSecure’s fenestration products.

· Support architects/engineers with accurate product specifications and certification information.

· Review customer specifications and provide technical guidance.

· Respond to technical inquiries and assist with product selection and application.





· Identify new testing and certification opportunities.

Manufacturing Engineering & Supplier Support

· Improve production processes, quality, and efficiency.

· Support CAPA investigations and the development of manufacturing documentation.

· Participate in supplier audits and product reviews.

Sales & Marketing Support

· Create accurate technical content for product documentation and promotional materials.

· Provide technical expertise during sales meetings and events.

· Help customers understand product applications and identify new opportunities.

· Help customers understand product applications and identify new opportunities.

What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications

· BSc in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.

· 3–8 years of engineering experience.

· Less than 12 months from obtaining P.Eng. (Manitoba).

· Demonstrated 2D/3D CAD modeling and engineering drawing skills.

· Experience developing test plans, coordinating certified lab testing, and interpreting results.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

· Manitoba P.Eng. designation.

· Experience with Autodesk Fusion.

· Experience using LBNL WINDOW software.

· Fenestration / Glazing industry experience.

· Familiarity with the Canadian Building Code (fenestration)



and preparing building glazing specifications.

· Experience writing technical content for datasheets/sell sheets.

· Manufacturing engineering experience (process optimization, documentation, CAPA).

· Supplier audit experience.

· Customer-facing technical support experience.

Working Environment

· Permanent, full-time, 40 hours per week.

· On-site.

· Dynamic environment spanning a professional office, production floor and testing lab.

· P.Eng. supervision and mentorship provided.
