Job Title: Medical Office Assistant (MOA) – Cosmetic Surgery

Job Type: Part-time, Temporary (with possibility of a permeant position)

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, & Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (24 hours per week)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated, professional Medical Office Assistant to join our busy cosmetic surgery clinic on a part-time, temporary basis (with the potential to transition into a long-term role). As a world-class clinic, we pride ourselves on delivering standard-setting patient care. You will work closely with the Clinic Manager to manage daily administrative operations, serve as the welcoming face of our practice, and dedicate quality time to guiding our patients through every step of their journey.

Key Responsibilities

- Patient Experience: Greet arriving patients, answer phone inquiries, respond to emails, and patiently explain procedure details, answering all patient questions thoroughly and thoughtfully.
- Surgical Prep & Follow-Up: Ensure patients are fully prepared and informed for upcoming surgical procedures and conduct attentive post-procedure follow-ups.
- Financial Handling: Prepare receipts, process payments accurately, and manage daily billing.
- Administrative & Records: Create and maintain patient charts with meticulous accuracy, manage filing systems, draft correspondence/forms, and prepare clinic documentation for printing.
- Clinic Upkeep: Order and restock office supplies,



maintain an organized workspace, and assist the Clinic Manager with ad-hoc duties.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Minimum 3 years as a Medical Office Assistant (MOA) preferred; experience in a surgical or cosmetic setting is a robust asset.
- English Proficiency: Exceptional command of spoken and written English is required to meet the high standards of our world-class clinic. Fluency in a second language is a welcome asset.
- Patient-Centered & Patient: Strong empathy and exceptional patience when communicating with patients, with a willingness to invest quality time going over detailed medical and surgical information.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to chart creation, documentation, billing, and record-keeping.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency with computers, including MS Office and modern EMR/office management systems.
- Soft Skills & Work Style: Outstanding interpersonal skills, a warm demeanor, and the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
