Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for running the production line. This includes operating machinery, ensuring that raw materials are fed properly through the manufacturing process, resolving line stoppages, clearing equipment jams, verifying finished products against quality specifications, and ensuring that products are properly prepared for shipment.

propane-powered forklift Ensure product being produced meets established quality specifications Conduct quality checks at regular intervals Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with established operating procedures Document production numbers, items contributing to down-time into system General housekeeping duties High Secondary School diploma ~ Minimum 2 years’ experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry or similar industry preferred ~3 years of flexographic printing and/ or blown film multilayer extrusion experience is considered an asset ~ Basic knowledge of water based print and/ or blown film extrusion raw materials ~ Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience preferred ~ Fluent in English - Reading, Writing and Speaking ~ Must be able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift ~ We may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools on a limited basis to assist in initial assessment, identification, and review of candidates.
