Our growing Brampton client who is a leader in packaging manufacturing is looking for millwright to join their team for a straight afternoon shift. Reporting directly to the Tooling & Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for the continuous operation of machinery and equipment. Liaising with the production group and tooling technicians you will be responding to breakdowns and completing scheduled planned maintenance.

Working predominantly on power presses and their auxiliary equipment you will be required to have general knowledge on electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC systems. Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair. Helping to develop recent maintenance strategies to improve operational efficiencies.





Support production activities to meet overall O.Installation of plant equipment both mechanically and electrically Working alongside contractor and suppliers Ensuring the presses, tools, auxiliary equipment, and production area are kept in a clean and safe condition. Reporting any faults or at-risk conditions with the machinery or working conditions to ensure they are rectified to maintain a safe workplace. Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve safety and productivity.

Qualifications: Industrial Millwright Mechanic -433A The ability to fault find and resolve on electrical and mechanical equipment and systems. Computer literacy. Knowledge of OMRON, Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs Previous experience in food packaging manufacturing environment Mon-Friday 3pm-11pm $
