Role Description The ML and AI Engineer role is a full-time, remote position focused on designing, developing, and deploying machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions for client engagements. Day-to-day responsibilities include building and training models, performing data preprocessing and feature engineering, and evaluating model performance using appropriate metrics.
The role involves working with neural networks and NLP techniques, implementing pattern recognition algorithms, and integrating ML components into production-ready software systems. The engineer collaborates with consultants, data analysts, and client teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, document solution approaches,
and ensure scalable, maintainable implementations. The position also includes staying current with ML and AI best practices, contributing to reusable tools and frameworks, and supporting continuous improvement of the firm’s data and analytics offerings.
Qualifications
- Robust foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.
- Hands-on experience with Pattern Recognition and Neural Networks for real-world data and predictive modeling tasks.
- Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including text preprocessing, model training, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Software Development for ML/AI solutions (e.g., Python, relevant libraries and frameworks, version control).
- Experience with end-to-end ML pipelines, from data collection and cleaning to deployment and monitoring.
- Comfort working with cloud or distributed computing environments (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, GCP) and ML tooling.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
