Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator with Level 2/3 to join our educational team. The ideal candidate MUST have a strong background in early childhood education and MUST be Montessori trained with experience in a Montessori classroom. The candidate should show a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating workplace for young learners.

This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, promoting social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our care.

Duties

- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity.
- Assess and document children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports diverse learning needs.
- Supervise children during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and any concerns that may arise.




- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current with best practices in early childhood education.

Skills

- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Spanish is a plus.
- Must have Montessori education and training.
- Should have experience in a Montessori classroom.
- Strong background in childcare, or working with people with disabilities.
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
- Effective teaching strategies tailored for early childhood education.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Classroom experience demonstrating leadership abilities in managing groups of young children.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
