About Us

Seniors Relocation Services (SRS) is a local moving company specializing in compassionate, professional moving services for seniors. We help clients through every stage of their move — from packing and organizing to moving, downsizing, donations, and disposal.

We are a growing company looking for a Move Manager to join our team and help keep our moving crews, customers, and day-to-day operations running smoothly.

About the Role The Move Manager is a hands-on leadership position. You will spend time both working in the field with our moving crews and helping coordinate the day-to-day operations of our moves.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, dependable, comfortable taking the lead, and enjoys working with people. You should be able to stay calm when plans change, solve problems as they come up, and ensure our customers receive the compassionate and professional service SRS is known for.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support moving crews on residential and senior moves
- Help coordinate daily schedules, crews, trucks, and job assignments
- Ensure moves are completed efficiently, safely, and professionally
- Communicate with customers before, during, and after their move
- Review job details and ensure crews have the information and equipment they need
- Assist with packing, moving, loading, unloading, and organizing items
- Help train and mentor new team members
- Ensure company procedures, safety standards, and customer-service expectations are followed
- Identify and address issues that arise during moves
- Assist with developing and improving company SOPs, processes, and checklists
- Help monitor equipment, supplies, and truck readiness
- Communicate significant job information and operational issues to management
- Support the continued growth and development of SRS





What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in moving, logistics, operations, construction, hospitality, or another fast-paced service environment
- Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and making decisions
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Comfortable interacting with seniors and their families
- Physically capable of lifting and moving household items
- Able to work in a physically demanding environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record
- Experience driving a cube/box truck is an asset
