Role Description The Naturopathic Doctor will provide direct patient care in a part time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive intake assessments, ordering and interpreting appropriate lab tests, and developing individualized treatment plans that integrate naturopathic and functional medicine principles. The role involves providing counseling on nutrition, lifestyle, and holistic health strategies, prescribing appropriate natural therapeutics, and monitoring treatment progress through follow-up visits.
The Naturopathic
Doctor will maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, collaborate with other healthcare professionals in the clinic as needed,
and participate in patient education initiatives such as workshops or written materials. Additional responsibilities may include contributing to practice development activities and staying current with emerging research relevant to integrative and functional medicine.
Qualifications
- Clinical expertise in Naturopathy and Functional Medicine, with the ability to integrate these approaches in patient assessment and treatment planning.
- Solid foundation in Medicine and Holistic Health to safely coordinate care and address complex or chronic conditions.
- Applied knowledge of Nutrition for designing individualized dietary and lifestyle interventions.
- Current licensure or registration in good standing as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in Ontario, or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong clinical reasoning, thorough documentation skills, and commitment to evidence-informed practice.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to patient care and teamwork.
- Experience in integrative or functional medicine settings is an asset, along with familiarity with laboratory testing and outcome tracking.
- Willingness to work on-site in Toronto on a part-time schedule and to participate in ongoing career development.
