Turn complex mechanical challenges into models that drive our products forward. As a numerical simulation engineer, you’ll contribute to the development and optimization of complex products by translating their real-world behavior into high-performance numerical models. As part of a team with unique expertise, your analyses and recommendations will directly guide design decisions, help push the boundaries of our products, and contribute to developing the solutions of tomorrow.
Prepare and develop finite element models of rubber tracks for numerical simulation, including geometry simplification, mesh strategy definition, and ensuring the numerical quality of the models Model track assemblies and complete vehicles in Abaqus/CAE, including the track, suspension, and other subsystems Set up, run, and debug static, quasi-static, and dynamic nonlinear analyses Analyze, interpret,
and synthesize simulation results to formulate clear and structured technical recommendations Collaborate on simulation/test correlation and the continuous improvement of modeling practices Profile With the following skills and qualities, you will thrive in this role: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering Strong knowledge of materials science and the fundamentals of mechanics And these assets will enhance your impact: Knowledge of the nonlinear behavior of materials (rubber, metals) Proficiency in CAD software (Solid Edge or equivalent) Python) Interest in numerical validation and correlation with experimental testing A adaptable work program tailored to your needs (flexible hours, compressed workweek, hybrid remote work, and more) An Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) and access to telemedicine services for a helping hand when needed A $2,000 referral bonus to help you find colleagues who are as dedicated to their work as you are! Social activities to connect with your colleagues
