Sonbuilt Custom Homes Ltd. is looking for a driven, people-oriented professional who’s exited to grow into a leadership role within a well established and expanding company.

This position is ideal for someone early-to-mid career who has a solid understanding of business, experience in single-family residential construction, and a strong desire to learn, lead, and build meaningful relationships. You’ll work alongside the company president, gaining hands-on experience across operations, safety, and sales.

What you’ll Do

- Work closely with the company president to support day-to-day operations and decision making.
- Assist with improving internal systems, organization, and processes as the company grows.
- Support HR related tasks including onboarding, training coordination, and certification tracking.
- Help oversee the organization of the office, shop, warehouse, and job sites.
- Collaborate with the Financial Officer on budgeting support, forecasting, inventory pricing, and cost tracking.

Safety and Compliance (Training Provided)

- Learn and support company safety programs and WorkSafeBC compliance.
- Assist with safety meetings, site inspections, and documentation.
- Help manage reporting, correspondence, and incident follow ups.
- Participate in onboarding and safety training for new team members and trades.

Construction & Field Support

- Support job sites as needed – from material coordination to light hands-on tasks.
- Help manage sub-trade relationships, suppliers’ coordination, fleet and equipment tracking.
- Act as a point of communication between office staff, field, and trades.

Sales & Relationship Building





- Support and grow sales through relationship-building business development.
- Build connections with homeowners, builders, and industry partners.
- Participate in product education, proposal preparation, and follow-ups.
- Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry events.
- Learn and use CRM tools to manage leads and client relationships.
- Lead by example in professionalism, follow-up, and customer care.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
