Eder Academy of Canada is seeking a dedicated and passionate OSSD English Teacher's Assistant (Grades 11 & 12) to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the lead teacher in delivering high-quality instruction and providing students with a positive and enriching learning experience.

Position: OSSD English Teacher's Assistant (Grades 11 & 12) Start Date: Immediate Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Job Type: Part-time Location: In-person at our North York campus Responsibilities:

- Assist the lead teacher with classroom management and instructional activities.

- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.

- Help prepare instructional materials, including worksheets, presentations, and assessments.

- Supervise students during in-class activities, ensuring a safe and productive learning setting.

- Assist with grading and providing feedback on assignments and tests.

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to support the educational process.

- Collaborate with the lead teacher to implement lesson plans and curriculum.





Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.

- Previous experience working with high school students is preferred.

- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

- Familiarity with the ENG3U/ENG4U curriculum and teaching methods is an asset.

- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
