Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Osteopath to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide musculoskeletal care to patients of all ages, utilizing manual therapy techniques and comprehensive treatment plans. Your expertise will help improve mobility, reduce pain, and promote overall well-being.

The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced setting. Fluency in multiple languages, including French, is highly valued to serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their medical history, symptoms, and treatment goals
- Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and stretching exercises
- Provide hands-on osteopathic treatments to alleviate pain and improve function across various musculoskeletal conditions
- Maintain accurate case management records using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for scheduling and documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses and medical professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients on injury prevention, posture correction, and lifestyle modifications for long-term health benefits




- Manage time effectively to see multiple patients daily while maintaining high standards of care

Experience

- Proven experience as an Osteopath or similar manual therapy practitioner in a clinical setting
- Prior hospital experience with acute care cases is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and mechanical principles related to musculoskeletal health
- Experience working with pediatric and adult patients across diverse healthcare environments
- Multilingual capabilities, especially fluency in French and bilingual proficiency, to enhance communication with diverse patient populations
- Familiarity with case management software and electronic health records systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain treatment procedures and health advice
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing appointments, documentation, and follow-up care
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced hospital or clinical settings
