About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Dental Lab Technician to join our team at the Smiles of Canada Head Office in Oakville. The ideal candidate has strong experience in digital dental design, particularly crown design, and is comfortable working with dental CAD software.

Location: 2140 Winston Park Drive, Suite 207, Oakville, ON L6H 5W1

Job Type: Part-Time

Pay: $30–$35 per hour

Responsibilities

- Design dental crowns and restorations using CAD software
- Work with digital impressions, scans, and CAD files
- Design and modify crowns according to prescription and clinical requirements
- Review designs for proper anatomy, contacts, occlusion, margins, and esthetics
- Make necessary adjustments to digital designs
- Communicate with the dental/clinical team regarding cases
- Maintain accurate digital case files
- Ensure quality and accuracy of completed designs
- Assist with general day-to-day dental laboratory tasks

Requirements
- Previous dental laboratory experience is required
- Crown design experience is required




- Experience with Exocad, LabCAD, or similar dental CAD software
- Strong knowledge of dental anatomy and crown morphology
- Understanding of occlusion, contacts, margins, and fit
- Robust attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good communication and organizational skills
