Responsibilities

- Thoroughly wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment in accordance with health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations, ensuring all areas are organized and sanitary at all times
- Assist with basic food handling tasks as needed, supporting the kitchen staff during busy service periods
- Follow proper procedures for waste disposal and recycling to promote an environmentally friendly workspace
- Support the overall cleanliness of the dining area and kitchen by helping with light cleaning duties when required




- Adhere to food safety regulations and restaurant policies to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate timely dishwashing during peak hours

Skills

- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and sanitation standards within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and basic food preparation tasks is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues
- Basic understanding of food safety regulations and proper hygiene practices
- Willingness to learn new skills related to hospitality and food service operations
