Join McGill University as a part-time instructor for LAWG 210, focused on Legal Ethics and Professionalism in Winter 2027. This role engages with students on crucial legal principles and ethical responsibilities. As a course instructor for the Faculty of Law, you will teach undergraduate students about the foundations of legal ethics and the social roles of lawyers.
The position requires a minimum of a first law degree and several years of significant professional experience. Blended teaching in a bilingual workplace will enhance students' understanding of diverse legal contexts. Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students on professionalism and legal ethics
- Guide discussions on access to justice and diversity
- Oversee the application of rules in negotiation and mediation
- Address the lawyer-client relationship and duties
- Evaluate student performance and provide feedback
Requirements:
- First degree in law
- Significant legal practice experience
- Experience teaching in a bilingual setting

- Availability for Tuesday/Thursday classes
