Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part time Math Tutor to inspire students and help them achieve their academic goals. In this role, you will provide personalized tutoring sessions focused on enhancing students’ understanding of math concepts, building confidence, and fostering a love for learning. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ educational journeys through engaging instruction and support.

Responsibilities

- Deliver one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in math, tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style
- Assess students’ current understanding of math topics and develop customized lesson plans to address gaps and reinforce strengths
- Use effective teaching techniques to explain complex concepts clearly and confidently
- Incorporate technology and computer skills to create interactive learning experiences
- Maintain a positive,



encouraging environment that motivates students to participate actively in their learning process
- Support students with special education needs by adapting methods to ensure accessibility and comprehension

Requirements

- Experience working with children or in an educational setting, preferably with classroom experience or tutoring roles
- Strong knowledge of math subjects across various grade levels and curricula
- Passion for teaching and helping students succeed academically
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
