Secured Property Group (SPG) is seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Part-Time / On-Call Security Officer with OFA Level 2 certification to support our team at a high-priority security site.

This position is ideal for an experienced security professional who is available to work part time and on-call shifts, including short-notice coverage when required.

Requirements

- Valid BC Security Worker License (Basic Security Training)
- Valid OFA Level 2 (Occupational First Aid Level 2) certification
- Minimum 2 years of security experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as an OFA Level 2 attendant/officer
- Experience working at a high-priority or high-responsibility security site is an asset
- Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills
- Ability to respond calmly and professionally to emergencies and medical situations
- Ability to follow site-specific post orders and procedures
- Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to complete accurate incident and daily activity reports
- Comfortable using a smartphone and security reporting systems
- Flexible availability and willingness to accept on-call shifts when required

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional security presence at the site
- Conduct interior and exterior patrols as required
- Monitor access control and site activity
- Identify and report safety, security, and maintenance concerns




- Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and medical situations
- Provide first aid within the scope of OFA Level 2 certification when required
- Complete accurate and timely incident reports and shift documentation
- Assist with emergency response and evacuation procedures
- Communicate effectively with SPG management, site representatives, emergency services, and other stakeholders
- Follow all site-specific post orders, policies, and procedures
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while on duty
- Report suspicious or unusual activity immediately

What We Are Looking For The successful candidate will be alert, dependable, professional, and capable of handling high-priority situations calmly and effectively. Strong judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail are essential.

This is a part-time/on-call position. Candidates must have a valid OFA Level 2 certification and meet the minimum experience requirements. Flexibility and availability for on-call coverage are important for this position.
