Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gardening tools, plants, landscape maintenance supplies, and related merchandise.
- Provide knowledgeable guidance on horticulture practices, landscaping ideas, and gardening techniques to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customers and promote featured products effectively.
- Support inventory management by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and ensuring product availability.




- Offer multilingual assistance when needed to serve a diverse customer base better.
- Assist with e-commerce order fulfillment and ensure accurate processing of online sales pickups or deliveries.

Experience

- Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in garden centers, hardware stores, or related environments.
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and cashiering is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, landscape maintenance, or related fields is a strong plus.
- Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are an advantage for connecting with diverse customers.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory flow and maintain an inviting store layout.
- Experience in customer service roles that require active listening and problem-solving to meet client needs.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings to support store operations.
