Part-Time | $15–$19/hour, based on experience

Potential for Full-Time Hours & Career Growth

Xcessive Graphics is looking for a reliable, hard-working Automotive Detailer & Shop Prep Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our vehicle wrap, paint protection film (PPF), window tint and detailing team. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays attention to the little details, and isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed.

For the right person, there may also be an opportunity to train and develop into vehicle graphics and wrap installation over time. If you're interested in learning a skilled trade and growing with the company, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

- Washing, cleaning and preparing vehicles prior to wraps, decals, PPF and tint installations
- Interior and exterior vehicle detailing
- Removing dirt, grease, wax, adhesives and other contaminants to properly prepare vehicle surfaces
- Assisting with post-install cleanup and final vehicle presentation
- Moving customer vehicles in and around the shop as required
- General shop cleaning and maintenance
- Keeping work areas, tools and supplies clean and organized
- Taking out garbage and helping maintain a clean, professional shop environment
- Assisting the production and installation team with basic tasks as needed
- Basic vehicle disassembly and reassembly if comfortable and experienced, such as removing emblems, trim or other components for installations

- Other general shop duties as needed

What We're Looking For

- Valid driver's licence and clean driver's abstract are required
- Comfortable and confident driving and moving a variety of customer vehicles
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working around vehicles
- Able to work independently and take direction
- Willing to learn and help wherever needed
- Able to perform physical work, including standing, bending, reaching and working around vehicles
- Previous automotive detailing, shop or vehicle experience is an asset, but we're willing to train the right person
- Experience with basic vehicle disassembly is an asset but not required
- An interest in learning vehicle graphics and wrap installation would be a bonus

Position Details This position will begin as part-time during our slower season, with hours based on our shop schedule and workload. As we move into our busier spring and summer season, there is potential for increased hours and a full-time position.

Starting wage is $15–$19/hour based on experience.

We're a small, locally owned shop, so everyone on our team wears a few different hats. We're looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in keeping things clean and organized, and is willing to learn.

For someone who is the right fit for our team and wants to grow with us, we're open to providing additional training in vehicle graphics and wrap installation, creating an opportunity to develop new skills and take on a larger role within the company.
