Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our healthcare team! Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring efficient scheduling that meets both patient needs and provider availability
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone, email, or in person, providing friendly and professional assistance
- Collect and verify patient information using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and billing inquiries to facilitate seamless financial processes
- Educate patients on treatment plans, appointment preparations, and follow-up procedures to promote understanding and compliance
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely communication of patient updates and needs
- Manage administrative tasks such as updating patient records, processing referrals, and handling correspondence
Requirements
- Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong knowledge of Dental terminology
- Familiarity with Tracker and MaxAssist and office management software
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, providers, and insurance companies
- Prior dental office experience preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare privacy regulations
- Office experience demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a proactive attitude
