Duties

- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
- Support seniors and individuals with disabilities through companionship and emotional encouragement
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a hygienic environment
- Monitor health status, report changes to healthcare professionals, and document care provided
- Provide specialized dementia care to ensure safety, comfort,



and engagement for clients with memory challenges

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities or nursing homes is highly desirable
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and medication administration procedures
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform light cleaning, meal preparation, and home care tasks effectively
- Certification or training in caregiving or personal support work is preferred but not mandatory
- Must be reliable, energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to providing compassionate care
