About the Position
Glenview Pharmacy is looking for a reliable, professional, and patient-focused Part-Time Pharmacist to join our community pharmacy team.
You will work alongside a fully trained and experienced pharmacy assistant, providing excellent support with day-to-day pharmacy operations.
Schedule
- Every Saturday
- One weekday per week
- Consistent weekly availability preferred
Responsibilities
- Review and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
- Perform therapeutic and clinical checks
- Provide medication counselling
- Identify and manage drug interactions and medication-related concerns
- Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals when required
- Provide minor ailment assessments and prescribing within scope
- Administer injections and vaccinations where authorized
- Maintain accurate patient and prescription records
- Follow Ontario College of Pharmacists standards and applicable legislation
- Work collaboratively with our trained pharmacy assistant
- Provide friendly and professional patient care
Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists (OCP)
- Authorized to practise as a pharmacist in Ontario
- Qualified liability insurance as required
- Solid communication and patient-care skills
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
- Community pharmacy experience preferred
- Injection certification is an asset
