Pharmacy Assistant For a Customer Support position

Silver Fox Pharmacy in Burlington is a Long Term Care pharmacy looking for a positive-thinking, friendly and dedicated pharmacy assistant to join our dynamic customer support team! The ideal candidate will possess exceptional phone skills and will be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel. Pharmacy experience is a must and experience with Kroll software an asset.

Responsibilities Include:

- Answering the phone and directing customers to the appropriate person
- Making introductory calls to all new customers
- Entering and maintaining customer contact information in pharmacy computer software
- Processing payments
- Adjudicating pharmacy claims
- Initiating third-party medication coverage
- Keeping a safe, comfortable, clean work environment




- Maintaining confidentiality and professional standards

Qualifications and Skills

- Possess a positive team spirit
- A friendly, professional phone manner
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Pharmacy experience
- Strong computer skills
- Exceptional customer support skills- remains calm under pressure and maintains a qualified demeanor when speaking with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $37,500.00-$45,000.00 per year
