Responsibilities

- Assist licensed physiotherapists in delivering patient-centered care by preparing treatment areas and equipment.
- Support patients through exercises, stretches, and mobility activities as directed by the physiotherapist.
- Monitor patient progress during therapy sessions and report observations to the supervising physiotherapist.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Ensure the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of therapy equipment and treatment spaces.
- Educate patients on post-treatment exercises and home care routines to promote ongoing recovery.




- Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient schedules and optimize care delivery.

Requirements

- Prior experience working in a hospital or acute care setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in patient care within a clinical setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols diligently.
