Biomed Recovery & Disposal Ltd. is hiring for the fulltime position of Plant Worker.

Biomed Recovery and Disposal is the largest medical waste management company in Saskatchewan. We are a growing company based in Aberdeen, SK, only 20 minutes north of Saskatoon. Position Summary

As a Plant Worker, you will play a key role in our waste processing operations, helping to ensure materials are handled safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures. Working as part of a team, you will support daily plant operations, maintain a clean and organized work workplace, and contribute to the overall success of the facility.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Work collaboratively with team members to transport tubs from incoming trucks through the weigh-scale process and into designated areas.
- Operate commercial washing stations and other plant equipment as assigned.
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
- Assemble and disassemble containers, boxes, and related equipment.
- Move materials and inventory throughout the facility.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform a variety of tasks.
- Ability to reliably commute to our office location on a consistent basis.

Preferred Qualifications The following qualifications are considered assets but are not required:

- Experience operating forklifts or other industrial equipment.
- Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform basic equipment-related tasks.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, recycling, or industrial environment.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to safely perform manual labour in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to work safely around moving equipment and machinery.

Working Conditions

- Work is performed in an industrial processing facility.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, dust, odors, and varying temperatures may occur.
- Regular use of personal protective equipment is required, including safety footwear, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and any other equipment required for the task.
- Work may involve operating or working around powered industrial equipment,



including forklifts and material-handling equipment.
- Overtime or additional hours may be required based on operational needs.

Schedule

- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm position.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required.

Compensation & Benefits Compensation will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and training. Benefits and additional perks will be discussed during the interview process.
