Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Podiatrist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, focusing on diagnosing, treating, and preventing a wide range of podiatric conditions. Your expertise will help improve patients’ mobility, alleviate pain, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Duties

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ foot and ankle health, utilizing medical terminology to document findings accurately.
- Develop personalized treatment plans that may include medication administration, physical therapy, or surgical interventions.
- Manage acute care cases, including urgent foot injuries or infections, ensuring prompt and effective treatment.
- Perform routine podiatric procedures such as nail removals, wound care, and biomechanical assessments.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams using electronic health record systems like Epic and Cerner to coordinate patient care efficiently.
- Collect data for research purposes or quality improvement initiatives to advance podiatric practices.




- Educate patients on proper foot care, injury prevention, and pain management strategies to promote long-term health.

Experience

- Proven experience working in hospital settings with exposure to acute care environments.
- Prior experience in research or clinical studies related to podiatry or related fields is highly desirable.
- Strong background in patient care across diverse populations, including pediatrics and home care settings.
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and medical office procedures.
- Hands-on experience with electronic health records systems such as Epic and Cerner is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to collect and analyze clinical data to inform treatment decisions or research projects.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical information clearly and compassionately.
