We are looking for a General Labor – Polisher to work in Production Department.

Responsibilities

· Perform sheet metal finishing/polishing duties in accordance with work orders and inspection sheets - using angle grinders, die grinders, stroke sander, files and other metal contouring and finishing tools.

· Read and interpret work orders

· Perform quality work as required in work orders in a timely fashion

· Actively participate in safety training and demonstrate competency by effectively resolving safety issues or bringing them to the attention of management

· Understand and comply with Company Health & Safety standards and programs

· Maintain departmental housekeeping and 5S standards

· Use initiative to take corrective actions

· Work overtime and shifts as required

Education and Experience

· Prior work experience in working with sheet metal (e.g. grinding and finishing stainless steel products) using angle grinders, die grinders, stroke sander, files,



and other metal contouring and finishing tools.

· High school or equivalent

Salary and Benefits

· Wage: CAD 18/ hr – 22/ hr (negotiable Depending on Experience)
