We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Powder Coating Applicator & Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our manufacturing team. Your expertise in coating application, combined with your keen eye for quality inspection and data collection, will help us deliver durable, flawless products to our customers.

Duties
- Prepare surfaces and set up powder coating equipment to ensure optimal application results
- Apply powder coatings accurately using spray guns or automated systems, maintaining consistent thickness and coverage
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of coated parts, utilizing tools such as calipers and gauges to verify dimensions and surface finish
- Perform detailed quality control checks throughout the coating process, identifying defects or inconsistencies early on
- Collect and analyze data related to coating thickness, adhesion, and overall quality performance for continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, inspection results,
and any corrective actions taken
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues and perform routine maintenance to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in powder coating application within a manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of quality management principles and quality control procedures (QA/QC)
- Excellent analysis skills for evaluating coating consistency, surface defects, and dimensional accuracy
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers and data collection devices
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, and environmental standards related to coating operations
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and maintain meticulous documentation
- Strong attention to detail coupled with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
