Role Description This full-time remote Practicum Student role is designed for individuals enrolled in a graduate-level counseling, social work, psychology, or related mental health program who seek supervised clinical experience. Day-to-day responsibilities may include conducting intake interviews, participating in individual or group sessions under supervision, documenting clinical notes in accordance with ethical and legal standards, and assisting with treatment planning.

Additional tasks can include maintaining up-to-date client records, supporting outreach or psychoeducation initiatives, and collaborating with licensed clinicians to ensure quality, person-centered care.

Qualifications

- Currently enrolled in an accredited graduate program (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy) and eligible for practicum placement.




- Foundational knowledge of counseling theories, mental and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document sessions and clinical information clearly and professionally.
- Comfort with technology, including secure telehealth platforms, electronic health records, and remote collaboration tools.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional boundaries in accordance with CRPO
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while actively engaging in supervision and team consultation.
- Interest in serving diverse populations and openness to ongoing learning around cultural humility and trauma-informed care.
- Availability to meet agreed-upon full-time practicum hours and scheduling requirements.
