In this vital role, you will support the kitchen by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Duties

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients for dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including dishwashing stations, utensils, and cooking equipment.
- Properly handle and store food items following safety guidelines to prevent contamination.
- Support cooking processes by organizing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal preparation.
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently to ensure a steady flow of clean equipment for kitchen staff.




- Follow food safety protocols at all times to uphold hygiene standards and regulatory compliance.
- Help with restocking supplies and ensuring the kitchen remains organized and sanitary throughout shifts.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
- Knowledge of basic food handling procedures and safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff and maintaining a clean workspace.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking basics, and meal assembly is advantageous.
- Commitment to food safety practices and attention to detail in cleanliness and organization.
