Duties

- Prepare ingredients and assist with basic food preparation tasks to support chefs and kitchen staff
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist in setting up workstations with necessary supplies for meal preparation
- Support food handling procedures to ensure proper storage and prevent cross-contamination
- Help with restocking supplies and managing inventory of kitchen essentials
- Follow all safety protocols during food prep and dishwashing to promote a safe working environment





Requirements

- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key!
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices aligned with industry standards
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and bending comfortably
- Strong attention to detail when cleaning and organizing kitchen tools and workspaces
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting daily restaurant operations
- Familiarity with serving procedures, meal preparation, and cooking techniques is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food quality at all times
