Compensation: $22.00 – $26.00 per hour (Starting rate, commensurate with experience) + Gas Stipend for errands

About the Role: We are a food-loving family located in Etobicoke seeking a highly skilled, reliable, and passionate full-time Private Chef to manage our daily culinary needs. While the primary focus of this role is authentic Indian cuisine, the ideal candidate will also be proficient in Italian cooking. You will take full ownership of our home kitchen, from planning menus and grocery shopping to daily meal preparation and accommodating custom dietary requests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Daily Meal Preparation: Arrive daily at our home to prepare fresh, high-quality, and flavorful meals for the household during your shift.
- Diverse Cuisine Execution: Expertly cook authentic North Indian and South Indian cuisines, as well as Italian dishes, ensuring traditional flavors and high standards.
- Custom Menu Planning: Accommodate custom meal requirements, dietary restrictions, and specific family preferences on a daily or weekly basis.
- Grocery & Pantry Management: Take full ownership of the kitchen’s inventory. Responsibilities include making grocery lists, picking out fresh, high-quality produce and ingredients, and ensuring the pantry is adequately stocked. (Note: A dedicated household credit card will be provided for all grocery expenses).




- Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen environment during and after meal preparation.

Requirements & Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of full-time professional or private cooking experience.
- Culinary Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in North Indian and South Indian cooking, with a strong capability in Italian cuisine.
- Reliability: Punctual and able to commute to our home in Etobicoke on a daily basis.
- Transportation: A valid driver's license and personal vehicle for grocery runs is preferred. A gas stipend will be provided for errands run using your own car.
- Adaptability: A flexible attitude with the ability to take feedback and adjust recipes to suit the family's palate.

Interview Process: To ensure a great fit for both the chef and our family, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a paid trial day or a tasting session (whichever best suits the candidate) at our home. You will be compensated at your hourly rate for this trial. Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
