We are seeking an inspirational or motivational speaker to engage our youth audience with a powerful 15-minute keynote style speech.

Our event is going to be a social focused on vision boarding.

The core themes of the event will be manifestation, self-belief, and owning what you believe. Our ideal speaker will be someone who can connect authentically with attendees and leave them feeling empowered to believe in themselves, their goals, and their ability to create the future they envision. We really want to set the scene prior to them creating their vision boards.

Speaking Theme The speaker will explore topics such as:

- The power of believing in yourself and your vision
- Turning your intentions into actions
- Manifestation
- The concept of believing something and obtaining it
- Overcoming self-doubt and limiting beliefs
- Encouraging young people to dream boldly and believe that their goals are possible

Ideal Speaker We are looking for someone who:

- Has experience speaking to or inspiring youth and young adults
- Is an engaging and confident communicator
- Can tell compelling stories and connect with a young audience
- Has a genuine passion for personal growth, confidence, and empowerment
- Can make the concept of manifestation feel practical, positive, and accessible
- Brings an authentic voice and uplifting energy to the stage

Commitment

- Speaking time: 15 minutes
- Format: Short inspirational/keynote speech
- Audience: Youth/young adults
- Theme: Manifestation, self-belief, and owning what you believe

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a short amount of time — 15 minutes that could change the way a young person sees themselves and their future.

Please submit a short bio, relevant speaking experience, and a brief description of how you would approach a 15-minute talk on “Manifestation & Owning What You Believe.”

Event is on Saturday October 24 2026 and begins at 3:30pm EDT at Durham College.

- Durham College, Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre, Multi-Purpose Room G213, 21 Avenue of Champions, Oshawa, ON, L1G8C4

Duration of employment

Compensation
- $125 honorarium and a reference
- Includes complimentary light dinner and welcome to participate in all event activities

- Note: There is a $5.00 parking fee at Durham College.
