Program Engagement Manager

TIME COMMITMENT: Full Time, 37.5 hours weekly

DURATION: Permanent

LOCATION: Office located in Grimsby, Ontario; Remote/Hybrid Work: Mondays/Fridays optional in office; Tuesday-Thursday mandatory in office

SALARY RANGE: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00

Overview of the Organization:

By strategically building extraordinary international partnerships with national ministries in 50 countries, equipping local believers through Bible-centric discipleship programs to become champions for the Gospel, committed to reaching their own communities with the Living Word of God.

Overview of the Role:

Reporting to the Chief Ministry Officer (CMO), the Program Engagement Manager supports the development and alignment of BLC's global ministry and Kingdom Partnership initiatives by fostering program growth and strengthening partnership effectiveness. The role contributes to the implementation of ministry strategy through the development of program frameworks, supports the ongoing evaluation and enhancement of programs to ensure meaningful outcomes, and works collaboratively with partners and cross-functional teams responsible for program delivery.

The incumbent should be comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines, building effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders, and communicating in a professional, collaborative, and diplomatic manner.

This is a newly created position. Specific responsibilities within the above areas include:

Ministry Engagement Administration

- Coordinate BLC’s global ministry and Kingdom Partnership initiatives:
- Prepare reporting for Leadership Advisory Team & National Leadership Team, Global Leadership Team, Board of Directors, Ministry Engagement Collective
- Participate in strategic planning for internal ministry programs and global ministry team
- Recommend, prioritize, and monitor ministry program initiatives, areas of focus, and implementation timelines




- Monitor active and emerging ministry programs to assess their health, alignment, effectiveness, and long-term viability
- Identify opportunities to grow and multiply ministry programs
- Align program initiatives with CMO strategy direction

Kingdom Partnership

- Support new country ministry expansion, in consultation with the CMO, CEO, Global Leadership Team, and other stakeholders
- Monitor and assess Kingdom Partnership program model development and refinement
- Support the CMO in developing Kingdom Partnership program frameworks and partnership approaches which include:
- New opportunities for Kingdom Partnership program growth
- Review of new partner program concepts
- Strengthened program alignment with partner priorities

Strategic Ministry Program Engagement

- Strengthen and support the consistent application of established ministry program models
- Support shared program quality guidelines
- In collaboration with the Research & Analytics team, manage and maintain practical outcome measurement tools
- In collaboration with Ministry Advancement, identify and support fundraising opportunities & reporting
- Improve program practices through outcomes and partner feedback

Outcomes and Impact

- In collaboration with Global Ministry partners, Joint Ministry Relations (JMR), and the Marketing Team, support accurate and meaningful program impact storytelling for each BLC regional partner. This includes, but is not limited to country profiles, field reviews, Annual Reports, fundraising campaigns, marketing initiatives.
- Ensure accurate and current information for each BLC regional partner:
- Names, places, identities, security protocols, ministry model alignment
- Participate in oversight of BLC collateral, as required, to ensure confidentiality and approve quality assurance

Cross-Team Project Collaboration

- Collaborate with the Ministry Operations Lead on program implementation clarity
- Provide program intent, scope, and success criteria to project teams
- Review program progress reports from project teams for contribution to the Ministry Engagement Collective
- Support the Ministry Advancement team with Foundations engagement

Chapel/Prayer Time

- Participate in regular staff chapel services and pray for and minister to colleagues, donors, visitors and people who contact Bible League Canada either in person, or by phone or other electronic communication. These ministry and prayer opportunities include but are not limited to weekly chapel and devotions, meetings, general inquiries, and conferences and events.

Education:

- Minimum requirement of a bachelor’s degree in business, or credentialed in a related field
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered

Experience:

- Proven track record of planning, developing and implementing strategic objectives
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with external partners, ministries, churches, donors,



or community organizations
- Experience in a faith-based, nonprofit, humanitarian, or international development environment is an asset

Technical Skills:

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced PowerPoint & Teams skills
- Advanced organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of program evaluation and impact assessment methodologies
- Budget awareness and resource planning
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to see the “big picture”
- Experience with Asana (project management) software is an asset

- Able to handle confidential information and maintain security standards
