Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Coordinator in our Calgary office to support our project management team in planning and executing a variety of exciting masonry projects. This role is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone in the early stages of their construction management career to gain experience within a supportive and growth-focused environment.
As a Project Coordinator, you will assist with compliance, scheduling, document control, and communication between field and office teams. You will also contribute to maintaining timelines, safety standards, and quality assurance on-site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with compliance documentation and project start-up tasks
- Help coordinate project schedules and timelines
- Support cost control and procurement tracking efforts
- Review and assist with shop drawings and submittals
- Participate in safety planning and reporting
- Facilitate internal and external communications related to project progress
- Attend site visits and meetings to support project oversight
- Assist in maintaining documentation and digital filing systems
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- An understanding of project coordination and construction processes and systems
- The ability to read, understand and interpret technical construction drawings and specifications
- The ability to plan, develop and monitor project schedules
- Build and maintain positive and team-oriented relationships with General Contractors and other project stakeholders
- The ability to effectively manage multiple tasks on concurrently running projects
- Ability to complete projects on time and on budget
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Training/Education:
- A recent graduate of the Construction Engineering Technology Diploma or Architectural Technology Diploma
- Hands on construction or masonry experience is an asset
- BIM and/or REVIT experience is an asset
Position Specifics:
- This position is available to start immediately.
- Salary will be discussed based on education, experience and qualifications
- This position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate of the CET Program to gain valuable experience in project management
