- Location: Halton, Ontario (On-Site Field Deployment) / Main Office: 2538 Speers Rd Oakville, ON L6L 5K9 Unit 1
- Position Type: 1-Year Full-time Fixed-Term Contract / Potential for extension and career growth pathways
- Hours of Work: 40 hours / week
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. / Additional hours or flexibility may occasionally be required based on project needs.
- Base Salary & Allowance: $70,000 – $80,000 annual base + $800/month vehicle allowance
- Vacation: 3 weeks
- Production / Performance: Targeted oversight and team leadership to hit project milestones and goals

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Project Manager, the Project Supervisor will lead a team of field technicians to achieve project target goals across the Halton area. Splitting your time between office coordination and hands-on field support, this role is responsible for managing staff, driving quality assurance, resolving technical service challenges, and championing safety compliance. We utilize modern digital workflows and mobile tools to streamline daily execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field Operations & Technical Support
- Spend approximately 90% of your time in the field across Halton locations supporting labor and guiding technicians.
- Provide expert technical guidance and hands-on assistance for complex installations, soldering, plumbing modifications, and problem accounts.
Team Leadership & Training
- Manage, mentor, and direct a small team of technicians to ensure project milestones and corrective measures are met.
- Facilitate hands-on training for new installers in both the classroom and the field to maintain operational consistency.
- Foster an empowering team culture focused on safety, efficiency, and collaborative problem-solving.
Quality Assurance & Data Integrity
- Conduct rigorous quality assurance (QA) audits on installations and manage warranty issues.
- Investigate root causes of data entry or workmanship errors and implement proactive corrective measures.
- Compile and maintain relevant project metrics for weekly QA progress meetings and audits.
Safety Compliance & Office Administration
- Perform routine safety audits on field installers to ensure adherence to company and regulatory standards.
- Spend approximately 10% of your time in the project office and warehouse handling administrative tasks and inventory reviews.
- Collaborate directly with the Project Manager for scheduling, resource allocation, and any other assigned operational duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a technical diploma, trade certification, or relevant education considered an asset
- Two years of hands-on experience in construction, trades, or laborer roles, complemented by a strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
- Two years of proven supervisory or leadership experience guiding field crews, service technicians, or skilled tradespeople
- Previous water meter installation experience, as well as preferred backgrounds in soldering and plumbing, will be considered distinct assets
- Demonstrated exceptional communication and customer service skills to effectively resolve technical challenges and interact with clients
- A valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract and a reliable personal vehicle carrying business-use/business endorsement insurance with $1 million liability coverage are required
- All candidates must successfully complete a mandatory clean criminal background check
