Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Public Area Attendant to join our team at Toronto Don Valley Hotel & Suites in Toronto. In this role, you will be vital in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of our public spaces, ensuring our guests enjoy a pristine environment that reflects our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces.
- Perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with the facilities team to address maintenance issues promptly.
- Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
- Assist in special cleaning projects or events as needed.
- Report any damages or safety hazards to management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to handle cleaning equipment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus.
