Position: QA Test Lead (API Automation & Cloud Verification)

We are seeking a seasoned QA Test Lead with a minimum of 8+ years of experience to drive our API automation strategies and oversee end-to-end quality assurance cycles.

In this role, you will lead QA efforts within an Agile framework, design robust API test automation architectures (preferably using Robot Framework with Python or RestAssured with Java

), and manage cloud-based system verification. You will act as the technical anchor for testing, ensuring reliable integrations, file transfers, and backend service stability.

Key Responsibilities

- QA Leadership & Strategy: Act as the Test Lead, defining testing strategies, drafting comprehensive Test Plans, and managing the formal Test Sign-Off process.
- API Automation Engineering: Design, build, and maintain scalable API test automation frameworks using Robot Framework (Python) or RestAssured (Java) .
- Manual & Exploratory Testing: Perform targeted API validation and debugging utilizing Postman , managing REST APIs , and handling SOAP XML payloads.
- Backend & File Verification: Validate secure data pipelines by interacting with File Transfer Protocols (FTP/SFTP) utilizing tools like WinSCP .
- Cloud & Log Analysis:



Monitor and analyze backend health, application behavior, and asynchronous messaging using AWS CloudWatch logs and AWS SNS (Simple Notification Service) .
- Agile Execution: Actively participate in all Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Standups, Reviews, Retrospectives) and drive defect tracking and user story management inside JIRA .

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience Tier: 8+ years of core software testing experience with proven capabilities in a Test Lead capacity.
- API Automation: Hands-on automation scripting using either Robot Framework (Python) or RestAssured (Java) . Preference is given to Python/Robot Framework.
- API Testing & Manual Tools: Deep proficiency with Postman , REST APIs , SOAP , and XML structures.
- QA Governance: Expert-level capability in writing test cases, structuring test plans, and managing release quality metrics for final sign-offs.
- Agile Methodology: Experience operating within fast-paced Agile environments with a strong working command of JIRA .

Nice to Have:

- Hands-on experience with secure file transfers and WinSCP .
- Practical exposure to cloud infrastructure utilities, specifically AWS CloudWatch and AWS SNS .
