The client is looking for a QE Engineer who is solid in test automation, Playwright, and AI/agentic testing , with retail industry experience . The role is focused more on hands-on execution and validation of visual/UI testing than traditional manual QA.

What the client is specifically looking for

- QE/Automation background with strong hands-on testing experience.
- Playwright is a key requirement specifically for UI and visual test automation .
- Strong Python or JavaScript automation skills.
- Experience with visual regression testing , UI comparison, content validation, or design-to-UI comparison.
- Experience using AI-assisted/agentic testing tools , especially:
- Ability to run, validate, and troubleshoot AI-generated test results and agent outputs.
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments.
- Experience with Jira and/or Monday.com .
- Retail industry experience is required.
- Comfortable working directly with the team, triaging defects/findings and refining test coverage .
- Strong communication and ownership, since this sounds like a hands-on individual contributor role .
