We are looking for experienced and reliable Rebar Fitters / Rebar Fixers to join our growing construction team. We work on a wide range of industrial, high-rise, infrastructure, and wastewater treatment projects throughout Ontario with multiple GCs for Municipal,Public & Private Projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, tie, and fix reinforcing steel in accordance with structural drawings and project specifications.
- Work on foundations, footings, walls, columns, slabs, tanks, beams, and other reinforced concrete structures.
- Read, interpret, and analyze structural drawings, rebar placing drawings, bar lists, and details.
- Accurately understand rebar sizes, spacing, lap lengths, bends, elevations, and placement requirements.
- Install and coordinate metal embeds, anchor bolts, sleeves, inserts, and other cast-in components.
- Verify rebar placement, clearances, cover, elevations, and dimensions before concrete placement.
- Work closely with formwork carpenters, concrete crews, surveyors, site supervisors, and other trades.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, conflicts, and field issues and communicate them to the supervisor.
- Maintain productivity and quality while working within tight project schedules.
- Follow all company and site-specific safety requirements and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Qualifications & Experience




- Previous experience as a Rebar Fitter / Rebar Fixer in commercial, industrial, high-rise, infrastructure, or wastewater construction.
- Strong ability to read and analyze structural and rebar drawings.
- Experience with large and complex reinforced concrete structures is an asset.
- Experience with metal embeds, anchor bolts, sleeves, inserts, and cast-in items.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a construction crew.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify potential issues before installation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, production-focused environment.
- Physically capable of performing rebar installation and related construction duties.
- WHMIS, Working at Heights, Confined Space, and other applicable safety certifications are an asset.

Experience with industrial facilities, high-rise construction, infrastructure projects, and wastewater treatment plants is strongly preferred. Pay: $24.95-$45.05 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
