Join the caring team at Riverside Glen as a Recreation Aide in Long Term Care. You will plan and implement engaging programs that enhance residents’ well-being and quality of life. This full time role requires a diploma or degree in recreation, leisure studies, or gerontology. Successful candidates will provide a Vulnerable Sector Check and TB screening before starting.

The Recreation Team

Member works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to foster excellent relationships with residents and families, ensuring a resident-centered approach to care. Key Responsibilities:

- Design and implement recreational programs for residents
- Support the resident-centered social culture
- Build strong relationships with residents and families
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide compassionate care that enhances quality of life

Requirements:

- Completion of a diploma or degree in relevant field
- Friendly, respectful attitude toward residents and staff
- Understanding of Therapeutic Recreation principles
- Familiarity with Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007
- Willingness to complete necessary screenings
